Last Updated: June 2026

Welcome to TraceStats. By accessing our website, purchasing our hardware, or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

General Use and Subscriptions

TraceStats provides a digital shooting analysis platform. Access to certain features requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed automatically on a recurring basis and can be canceled at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing cycle.

Hardware and Connected Services

TraceStats hardware is provided with a 12-month limited manufacturer warranty. This warranty does not limit any mandatory rights provided under applicable consumer protection laws. Extended warranties, cloud connectivity, and Over-The-Air (OTA) updates may require an active TraceStats Connected Services subscription. TraceStats is not responsible for physical damage caused to the hardware by user error, including improper installation, mounting, misuse, or direct impact from projectiles, unless covered under a specific advance replacement plan.

Automated Scoring Disclaimer

TraceStats uses automated image and sensor-based analysis to assist shooting practice and performance tracking. While we aim for high accuracy, automated results may contain errors. Automated detection and scoring features are provided as assistance tools. TraceStats does not replace official scoring procedures defined by competition organizers. Users acknowledge that environmental conditions, camera positioning, lighting, and other external factors may affect automated analysis accuracy. Users are strictly responsible for reviewing and confirming results before relying on them for competitions, official records, or administrative purposes.

Limitation of Liability and Safety

Firearms are inherently dangerous. TraceStats is a training aid and measurement tool, not a safety device. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Speciotec Oy shall not be liable for indirect damages or losses arising from the use of the product. Users remain responsible for safe firearm handling, correct installation, and compliance with applicable laws and range rules.

Acceptable Use & Governing Law

You agree not to misuse the TraceStats platform. This includes attempting to reverse-engineer our software, overloading our APIs, or attempting to hack or disrupt the service. These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland.
